Leren Mae Bautista won this year’s Binibining Pilipinas Globe, beating stiff competitions from 40 other contestants. During her media roles, and even during the Q and A sessions, she opened up about how she was bullied for her looks when she was younger, and that is why her advocacy is anti-bullying.
The 26-year old took over from Miss Globe 2018 Michele Gumabao and will be the Philippines official representative at the intercontinental pageant late this year. Below are facts you should know about her:

The beauty queen is not only blessed with looks but also brains. Leren Mae Bautista is a degree holder in Marketing from the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba.
She is a Pageant Regular
Leren Mae Bautista is no stranger to beauty pageants. Before the Binibining Pilipinas 2019, she also scooped Miss Los Banos 2013, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015, Binibining Laguna 2014, and Mutya ng Pilipinas – Asia Pacific International 2015.
She represented the Philippines at The Miss Globe 2019 pageant, where she placed as 2nd Runner-Up. Bautista was announced as one of the official delegates for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 on July 19, 2021.
Leren thinks of herself as a traditional, family-oriented girl and enjoys playing Filipino games such as tagu-taguan and Chinese garter.
She Loves Traveling
Despite her busy schedules, Leren Mae Bautista loves traveling and engaging in outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is from Laguna
Leren Mae was born 26 years ago in Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines, where she won her first pageantry title.
She is one of the tallest contestants standing at 5’8, and the only 100 percent Filipino of the six winners of BB Pilipinas 2019. She possesses wider born structures compared to other contestants too.
What Success Means to Her
In her winning answer, she was asked to define what success means for her, and with huge devotion, she said her definition of success winning the fight against bullying, having experienced hurtful words as a 10-year-old.
Apart from pageantry, Leren Mae Bautista is also part of the Philippine Tapestry scheme of the Department of Tourism.
