One such competition is the BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Cup. It was also the first time for the competition to adapt the “super round” with their competition, and it was the first time for the Philippines and China to have their women’s baseball team join in.
The Philippines was part of Group B, where they went against Taiwan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. They ranked second, with two wins and a loss against Taiwan; it was Taiwan who got rank 1 in their group.
Afterwards, there was a super round where they went against Taiwan, Japan, and China. The Philippine baseball team won against China, but lost against Japan, giving them a 3 win, 2 loss record, and they went against China for a 3rd place match.
