Manila, Philippines – The country once again is hit by another tropical storm. The said storm this time is given the name “Jenny.” Initially detected as a low pressure area a couple of days ago, it has developed into a tropical storm and is seen to increase in strength.
It had been a rainy weekend for most, and it affected the long weekend that most people were anticipating. On August 27, classes were suspended for most places in Metro Manila, along with nearby provinces in anticipation of the heavy rain that “Jenny” would have brought.

It is anticipated that “Jenny” will make landfall near Aurora on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, which means more rain to come. The local government units have announced that there will be another day in which classes are suspended.

If you live in a place that is not listed here, better to contact your school to see if they have their own announcement, but it’s always better to be safe instead of taking chances.
