#WalangPasok: Suspension of Classes for December 3, 2019

Classes are still suspended due to the arrival of tropical storm “Tisoy.”

  • Tropical storm “Tisoy” is expected to make landfall at Bicol the night of December 2, 2019, Monday
  • It is forecasted that it will continue on west up until the morning of Tuesday, December 3, 2019
  • Classes has already been suspended in anticipation of the typhoon on Monday and certain areas still have classes suspended for Tuesday

As tropical storm “Tisoy” is still going across the country while moving west, suspension of classes will continue up until Tuesday, December 3, 2019. It was previously posted that Monday, December 2, already had some areas suspend their classes in anticipation of the arrival of the storm.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has already issued a warning to have everyone prepare for the incoming storm, with Signal No. 3 being declared at Catanduanes, while Signal No. 2 is declared in the following areas:

  • eastern part of Laguna
  • eastern part of Batangas
  • Quezon including Polillo Island
  • Oriental Mindoro
  • Marinduque
  • Romblon
  • Camarines Norte
  • Camarines Sur
  • Albay
  • Sorsogon
  • Masbate including Ticao Island and Burias Island
  • Northern Samar
  • Eastern Samar
  • Samar
  • Biliran

Signal No. 1 is declared in these areas, including Metro Manila:

  • southern part of Isabela
